We do not collect any special category data such as health, religion, or biometric information. Furthermore, our website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

03 - HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your personal data to process and fulfil your orders, communicate with you about your purchase, improve our website and service, and with your consent send you marketing emails. We also use it to meet our legal obligations and prevent fraud.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are: contract performance (for order processing), legitimate interests (for analytics and security), legal obligation, and explicit consent (for marketing).

04 - WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We never sell your data. We share it only with the services we need to run our business:

  • Shopify - our e-commerce platform
  • DPD - for order delivery
  • Klarna, PayPal, Shopify Payments - for payment processing
  • Email marketing platform - for newsletters (only if subscribed)
  • Google Analytics - for anonymised website analytics

All third parties are bound by data processing agreements and handle your data in accordance with the GDPR.

05 - DATA RETENTION

We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. By law, we have to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial, and Transaction Data) for seven years for tax and administrative purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

06 - INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers (such as Shopify and Google) are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Whenever we transfer your data outside the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by using approved safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

07 - COOKIES

We use cookies to make the website work and to understand how it's being used. This includes essential cookies (required for cart and checkout), analytics cookies (to understand visitor behaviour), and marketing cookies (only with your consent).

You can manage or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.

08 - YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also request that we restrict how we process it, receive your data in a portable format, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. For marketing, you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
